Child Sponsorship Program
At Por Qué No Tú, we are deeply committed to transforming children's lives through education, empowerment, and support, guiding them as we teach about the love of Jesus.
In 2025 we were able to open our activity center. We started a Saturday morning chidren’s program and a Wednesday night youth Bible study. We also had our first English teacher, who committed to a one year term.

El Faro (Activity Center)
El Faro, which means Lighthouse, is an activity center designed to receive and teach the hondurans. It features a computer lab, a library, and an outdoor area where we host our Saturday Kids Service and organize games for children. The center aims to help the community develop new skills while deepening their understanding of the Bible.

Children and Youth Programs
Each program would incorporate songs, a Bible lesson, memorization of Bible verses, engaging and entertaining games, concluding with a shared meal.

Teaching English
We are looking for Missionaries to come and help out, from two-months to five-years committments. Our program aims to integrate Bible songs and stories with English learning. As well as teaching English in the mornings, in the afternoons you would be serving in our Activty Center.
As a young mission, we consistently envision ways to actively engage with the community and strengthen the local church. The ministries outlined below represent our ideas for expansion.

Pastor Conferences
Recognizing that many pastors in the local area lack formal training and face barriers to further education due to limited opportunities and resources, we are preparing to host conferences. Our aim is to stand beside them, offering support and facilitating their growth as leaders.
-

Young Adult Retreats
Additionally, we aspire to offer programs that nurture and disciple youth, strengthening their faith through outreach, Bible lessons, and team-building exercises.
We also provide physical needs to help with their Spiritual needs!

Farmette
We have coffee bushes and banana trees and aspire to raise goats, chickens, pigs, and perhaps iguanas to create job opportunities for the community. This initiative also serves as a platform to teach farming. Our primary focus is on building relationships that can lead to sharing about our Lord Jesus Christ.

Service Projects
There are many physical needs, so we:
Concrete floors
Install bathrooms
Build Houses
Provide clean water with 5 gal filtration systems
Provide solar lights
As we engage with the community, our prayer is that our light may shine, and our neighbors can experience the love of Jesus through us!
